Route day 3

The place I choosed war very quiet. In the early morning I was able to make this beautiful video. Here you can rise up the volume because there is no engine sound. The geese are coming back from the south and they are screeming.

Sight from Öland to the bridge to KalmarMy journey went on to Kalmar and there over the bridge to the isle of Öland. I had planned a drive to the north to the ferry harbour in Byxelkrok. But before I was attracted to do a side trip to the south of the island. A nature conservation area for indigenous fauna is located there, mainly you'll find groundbreeding birds. Unfortunetaly I had a lot of mist and fog at the south end.

On the east side towards the Baltic sea the way led to direction north. Öland itself is characterized with agricultural farming and also the matching bad odor was in the air.

When I reached Byxelkrok I had to realize to my sorrow that no ferry goes to the mainland. I was informed before but my research must have had an mistake; the ferry doesn't run until June. What a pitty. This brought my tour plans in a jumble. Good luck that I had been holden back some more days for the unexpected.

About 200km (125 miles) more I had to drive now. But this day should have been quiet finished at Oskarshamn. To come there was not possible this evening. My way endet at the Caravan Club Timmernabben, approx. 30km (19 miles) before Oskarshamn.Landscape south end in Öland/Sweden
