Route day 11

Waking up at the North Cape

After a stormy and partly uncomfortable night which I had spent wind protected in a big excavator bucket the morning propitiated me with this beautiful picture. The wind was calming down and the day had adumbrated with better weather. But it was as cold as before.

The way back to Olderfjord was without rain. It always looked after raining bu it didn't. At the end ot this small video there were reindeers to see. Despite the before I drove this road I was fascinated of the landscape again.

In summertimes I suggest this might make not so much fun while masses of tourists are around here to go to the North Cape. By the way the visitors center North Cape has opened all winter times. Than you'll be allowed to go there only in a convoy of cars.

The late morning I reached Olderfjord again. I wanted to check the motorbike again and felt that the days before were in my bones somehow. It offered itself to take a room, look after all and already take a midday sleep. A calm day between is a good idea. The eternal day up here in the high north let me forget to sleep in a useful kind and I didn' find a reasonable sleeping rhythm.
